| [POKEFEEDS] Pokemon USA President resigns in 2008 |

Pokémon USA, Inc. has announced that Akira Chaba, will resign at the end of 2007. He joined when the New York corporate office was established and helped to establish Pokémon as a national brand.
Chiba will be replaced by Kenji Okubo, previous executive Vice President and head of of the Seattle Office, effective Jan 1st, 2008. Okubo will manage the operations in New York, Seattle, and London. He will oversee all intiatives outside of Japan including the TCG. |

Participating Toys 'R' Us stores across the United States will give away the legendary Pokemon Manaphy on Sept. 29th 2007 12:00 PM(Noon) to 3:00PM, it will be in a cherish ball, and holding a red scarf, no info on what level you get it at, but you will need to have a Nintendo DS and a copy of Diamond or pearl to receive Manaphy.

Thanks to Pokemon and Guitar Hero 2, made Game Stop 2Q profits up to 40 percent to $1.33 billion.
GameStop's profits were up 56 percent over the second quarter of 2006, while sales rose 38.9 percent over last year's Q2 sales of $963.3 million. Comparable store sales were put at a 29.1 percent increase, beating the company's guidance of 16-18 percent. Though the company traditionally relies heavily on sales of used games, GameStop said that during the quarter, sales of new software rose 49 percent, while new hardware 'soared' up 87 percent. Top sellers for the quarter included Guitar Hero II, NCAA Football '08, Mario Party 8, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, and Forza Motorsport 2. |

Pokemon USA is launching a back to school promotion with Armour-Eckrich's LunchMakers, they will be putting the new Diamond and Pearl Pokemon on 30 million packages of the portable, refrigerated meals. They hit shelves later this month and last till November. Packages will tout 10,000 Pokemon prizes in the instant-win sweeps, including 10 trips to New York's Nintendo World to visit the Pokemon Center, Nintendo DS units, Diamond and Pearl videogames, DVDs from licensee Viz and character figures from Jakks-Pacific. And it wouldn't be Pokemon if there wasn't a card to collect: Each product package contains a bookmark featuring a different Pokemon character.
