Game Genie Gold/Silver
Warning, there is a possibility that these codes can possibly damge or destroy your game save files. Please use these codes at your own risk.

These codes are courtesy of Tony Hedstrom from The Code Hut

How to get Pokemon Silver or Gold Game Genie codes to work on a Gameboy Color. Before you try this method, let me give you a bit of a warning... There is a possibility that this method may erase your saved game, so use this method at your own risk. Insert an older Gameboy game (one that works with the Game Genie) and turn on the power switch. As soon as you see "Created by Codemasters" start to scroll down the screen, pull the game straight out of the Game Genie (while leaving the power turned on) and then insert the Pokemon Silver or Gold cart into the Game Genie. It may take more than one try to get it to work. Just remember that this method may erase your saved game, so it is best if you use this method when you don't care about your saved game, or when you are starting a fairly new game (that way, if the saved game is erased, it won't take you very long to get back to where you were).

NOTES:
These codes will only work on the old style of Game
Boy, or on any emulator that can use Game Genie codes.
So if you have a Color Game Boy, then the codes will
probably not work.

There is a possibility that these codes may erase your
saved game, so use the codes AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Pokemon Silver/Gold

Most items in shop codes
Enter the code for the city you want, then enter the
shop (Pokemart) and go to buy some items. You will
find that you have several hundred different items
that you can buy!! To see the extra items, just keep
pressing the "down" button.

Here is a partial list of the items you can buy in
the shops with the code on (remember, you can get all
of this with only ONE code!)....

Teru-Sama, TM16, HM12, Ultraball, Masterball, Nugget,
Exp. Share, Berserk Gene, Machine Part, Water Stone,
Lemonade, Metal Powder, Revival Herb, TM08, Poke Doll,
Bright Powder, HP Up, Red Apricorn, Cleanse Tag, TM10,
Max Repel, Full Restore, Elixer, Tiny Mushroom, HM04,
Max Ether, Red Scale, Przcureberry, Lucky Punch, TM46,
Good Rod, Burnt Berry, TM09, Rage Candybar, etc....

And the list goes on and on... Some of the items you
get for free, but some of the items you still have to
pay for. You may have to scroll down a long time
before you find the item you want (just keep pressing
the "down" button).

Anyways, here are the codes...

FE3-4F9-C42
Get almost any item you want from the shop (Pokemart)
in VIOLET CITY.

FE3-B39-C42
Get almost any item you want from the shop (Pokemart)
in ECRUTEAK CITY.

FE3-A89-C4E
Get almost any item you want from the shop (Pokemart)
in OLIVINE CITY.

By changing the first two digits of the above codes
from FE to FF, you will have an infinite number of
items to choose from, but the game may restart once
in a while when you go to buy things in the shops,
so use "FF" at your own risk. Everytime I used "FE"
for the first 2 digits, I never had any problems.

Start with any Pokemon
NOTES: The code must be entered before you go into Professor
Elm's lab to pick your starting Pokemon.

There is a small possibility that using this code may
erase your saved game, so use it at your own risk.
But since this code must be used near the start of a
new game, you may not even have a saved game yet.

xx1-38B-910

Start with any Pokemon!! Replace the "xx" with the
two digit code from the list below. Go into Professor
Elm's lab and pick the MIDDLE Pokeball. The picture
will still show Totodile, but you will get whichever
Pokemon you picked with the code. So for example, if
you wanted to start with Celebi, you would just find
Celebi in the list below (Celebi is the last one on the
list) and put the two digit code (next to his name)
in place of the "xx" in the code above. So since
Celebi's two digit code from the list below is "FB",
this is the code you would use: FB1-38B-910. Just
remember to pick the middle Pokeball in Elm's lab.

Below is a list of all the Pokemon in the game. Just
find the Pokemon you want and put the number in place
of the "xx" in the code above.

Catch any Pokemon codes
These codes only work on Rt. 30. The codes below let
you catch Celebi, but you can modify the codes so that
you can catch any Pokemon you want. To modify the
codes, just change the first two digits of each code to
the two digits of the Pokemon you want (see the list
below the codes). The two digits for Celebi are "FB",
so that's why all 3 codes begin with FB. So for an
example, if you wanted to catch Bulbasaur, you would
find Bulbasaur in the list below (Bulbasaur's number
is 01), then change the first two digits of each of the
3 codes from FB to 01.

You may have to enter more than one battle before you
catch the Pokemon you want.

The following codes let you catch Celebi on Rt. 30...

In the morning:
FB3-7E8-A2A + FB3-808-C42 + FB3-848-C46

In the evening:
FB3-8C8-A2A + FB3-8E8-C42 + FB3-968-C46

In the night:
FB3-9A8-7F4 + FB3-9E8-6E4 + FB3-A08-A26

-----------------------------------------------------

If you want to catch another Pokemon besides Celebi,
just find the one you want from the list below and
use the number from the left as the first two digits
of the codes above (in place of "FB").

FB3-7E8-7FC + FB3-028-D5E + FB3-868-F7A

In the evening:
FB3-8C8-A2A + FB3-8E8-D5E + FB3-928-D5E

In the night:
FB3-9A8-6E4 + FB3-9C8-A26 + FB3-A08-A26

-----------------------------------------------------

If you want to catch another Pokemon besides Celebi,
just find the one you want from the list below and
use the number from the left as the first two digits
of the codes above (in place of "FB").
