Cruisin' For Loosin
Team Rocket is thrown out of a contest hall for having an oversized, fake ribbon. Jessie thinks it is fine, but James and Meowth differ. It’s time for the Rubella Town R-1 Pokémon Contest to begin. R-1 means that every participant must have at least one ribbon in order to enter. May is talking with Savannah (a new friend from the last episode) in the contest locker room. Savannah starts to praise May for more than she’s worth. May just starts to take it in quickly. Drew is also noticed. He just smirks to himself. Team Rocket is walking down a lane when they meet somebody who wants their fake ribbon for her Azurill. She offers to pay some money for it. Jessie has a new idea. The preliminary round begins. In this round, Coordinators appeal their Pokémon to the judges (a Head Judge, the president of the Pokémon Fan Club, and the Nurse Joy of Rubella Town). May uses Beautifly and does well with Morning Sun and Silver Wind. Savannah’s Flareon uses a combination of Ember and Swift to make orange stars. Savannah’s daughter, Sandra (who is in the crowd with Ash and company), claims that was her idea. The final contestant is Drew. He is widely popular, much more than May expected. Drew makes a creative entrance, having thousand of Petals (from Petal Dance) appear before his Roselia does. The crowd goes wild. The four people advancing onto round 2 are announced. They are Drew, May, Sonny (who we don’t know personally), and Savannah. Ash and company are excited. Team Rocket is quickly producing oversized, fake Ribbons so they can be resold to people. James and Meowth are doing all the work, and Jessie is maddened by the poor workmanship. The opponents of Round Two are computer randomized. Drew will battle Sonny first, and May will battle Savannah second. May is starting to get way overconfident in the locker room, since she already won two ribbons. Drew advises her to forget the past and to focus on the future. The second round is about to begin. Unlike traditional rules, the Pokémon used in the second round must be different than the ones used in the first round. Drew now battles Sonny. Drew uses his new Masquerain, while Sonny uses a Girafarig. Girafarig starts with Psybeam, but Masquerain dodges it. Then it uses Bubble; although the bubbles just float up into the air. Masquerain uses Ice Beam to freeze the bubbles. They look very beautiful, but the announcer is still confused as to the strategy. Finally, Masquerain uses Hidden Power. It bounces off all of the bubbles and hits Girafarig hard. Girafarig is unable to battle; Masquerain and Drew advance using a triple combo. In the locker room, Savannah says that she is nervous. May states that she will be trying her very best, even if she knows the opponent. Savannah was worried that she would have to take it easy, and May replies that it would be an insult if the battle was easier than it should be. Ash and company enter, along with Sandra. May says that she will use her Bulbasaur in the second round. Ash tries to give May some advice, but she says that she does not need any. Ash tries again, but May is really stubborn. Bulbasaur doesn’t like the bickering at all, but it does nothing. May eventually leaves the room. Ash looks at Drew, who smirks again. The battle between May and Savannah is about to begin. May uses Bulbasaur; Savannah uses Lairon. Bulbasaur gets a severe case of stage fright and runs behind May. May forces Bulbasaur to get back onto the field and Bulbasaur eventually gives in. The battle officially begins. Lairon uses a Take Down. Bulbasaur is given a great deal to time to dodge it, but Brock realizes its problem, and Bulbasaur is too scared to move. Bulbasaur is hit, and May loses one tenth of her points. Bulbasaur then uses Vine Whip, and Savannah tells Lairon to take it. Even though Savannah loses points, Lairon is now touching Bulbasaur’s vines. It then uses Shock Wave. After twenty seconds, Bulbasaur is Paralyzed. It is ruled unable to battle. May tries to fight some more, but the judges immediately put her down. Outside on a lake, May is saddened that she was too brutal on Bulbasaur. Ash shows up and says that it happens to every trainer. Then he notices that the final contest battle has begun. Inside, Drew and Masquerain are winning with only thirty seconds left. Masquerain uses Hidden Power again. Lairon is hit, but not by that much. Savannah commands Lairon to try a Shock Wave, but time has elapsed. Drew is named the winner of the battle. Outside, Team Rocket is ready to sell the oversized ribbons, but nobody wants them. Eventually their initial customer arrives and asks for her money back, since the ribbon is larger than the Azurill. Drew is handed a green Ribbon and is the official winner of the Rubella Town R-1 Pokémon contest. He currently has four Ribbons and only needs one more to advance to the Grand Festival. In the Pokémon Center restaurant, Ash and company are eating with Savannah and Sandra. (Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Flareon, and Lairon are eating right outside the table.) Savannah says that her Ribbon reminds her of the best day she ever had. May then takes out her two Ribbons and is glad of them. Then Savannah wants to compete in some more Pokémon Contests. Sandra asks her about housework, and Savannah says that is what daughters are for.

That's Just Swellow
Ash and company are continuing towards Fortree City so Ash can win his sixth badge in the Hoenn League. They approach Crossgate Town, which is known for having powerful winds. Suddenly, a Swablu is flying with a pink ring with green bumps in its mouth. Then, a strong wind comes and Swablu is sent toward some craggy rocks. Ash has Taillow fly after Swablu. It gets Swablu and returns back to Ash. Then Swablu’s trainer arrives and introduces himself as Shane. He says that Swablu is training for the PokéRinger contest. Ash asks what the PokéRinger Contest is about. Shane says that it is a contest for Flying Pokémon to get a ring attached to a hot air balloon in the sky. Then the Pokémon who can get the ring and take it to a goal pole wins. During the contest, Pokémon are allowed to attack each other and get the ring, and trainers yell out their actions from hot air balloons. It seems that the contest is today, so Ash decides to enter with Taillow and May decides to enter with Beautifly. At the contest stadium, all of the previous winners of the contest are shown up on a large screen. May is worried that she’ll lose easily since this is her first time. Shane says that not only many of the winners were first time entries, but also Shane is entering for the first time himself. In addition to fame, the winner of the contest is made an honorary citizen of Crossgate Town for life. Team Rocket is spying on the event. Jessie thinks that prize is pretty bad, but James explains that he used to be a PokéRinger before he joined Team Rocket. He also shows his master and Crobat up on the winners screen. He is going to enter to fulfill his destiny. It’s time for the blocks of four to be formed, as every contestant is watching below. James shows up in his usual uniform, but he says that he is not a part of Team Rocket today; Ash still doesn’t trust him. Anyway, Shane is in the A Block; Ash is in the B Block with last year’s champion, Volt; and May and James are in the C block. In the A Block, the Flying Pokémon are released and they fly toward the ring. However, Shane notices a wind is coming, so he tells Swablu to fly up to avoid the wind. The other Pokémon are hit, so Swablu easily takes the ring and puts it on the goal ring. Shane advances. In the B Block, Volt is confident that he will win. This angers Ash, and the contest begins. Volt sends out his Volbeat, and it uses Thunder against two opponents. They are immediately out, so Volbeat uses another Thunder on Taillow. However, Taillow breaks free and gets the ring. Taillow is hit with another Thunder attack, but is strong enough to get the ring onto the goal post. Ash advances. In the C Block, the Pokémon are released and go straight for the ring. May has Beautifly use Gust to attack the other Pokémon; however, James has Dustox get the ring and ride the Gust to quickly get down to the goal post. James advances. Jessie and Meowth are making a fake Pokémon relaxation clinic to steal lots of Flying Pokémon. In the semifinals, there are only two opponents. In this semifinal, Taillow is against a Skarmory. Skarmory gets the ring first, but Taillow snatches the ring from Skarmory and advances to the finals. The relaxation clinic is a big hit with the trainers, so Jessie tells Meowth to escape to make a clean getaway. James and Shane are at a standoff in their semifinal match. After waiting about eight minutes, a strong wind picks up and both Pokémon go for the ring. It looks like Swablu is winning, but James notices that a cloud is about ready to move and reveal the sun. He tells Dustox to stop. The sun shows up and blinds Swablu. James takes this chance to have Dustox get the ring into the goal pole and they advance to the final. Right before the final, Meowth gets on top of the scoreboard and talks to James in flag language. He says that it is time to escape, but James replies in flag language that it is his destiny to win. Meowth says that it is an order to return to base, but James just throws one of the flags at him, saying he refuses. The final match between Ash and Taillow and James and Dustox begins. Dustox uses Psybeam on Taillow, but Taillow breaks free. Both Pokémon go for the ring, but a Dust Tornado picks up, destroying the face-down Desert Sunlight (no chain) in the process and virtually forcing both Pokémon to wait for the tornado to clear. However, Ash has Taillow enter the dust tornado to get the ring. It fails, so Ash tells it to keep going. Taillow then evolves into Swellow. It then uses Wing Attack through the tornado to grab the ring. Dustox then chases Swellow. It uses Poison Sting to make Swellow drop the ring. It then goes to get the ring. Swellow then follows. Ash then makes Swellow use Wing Attack on the ring to get it on the goal post. Ash is the winner of the PokéRinger Challenge! Jessie and Meowth show up and recite the motto, with the Pokémon trapped on a net attached to the bottom of the balloon. Then they try to get away, but James is reluctant to enter the Meowth balloon. Swellow then uses Wing Attack to free the Pokémon. Pikachu then uses Thunderbolt to blast Team Rocket off. Ash is the winner, and Shane congratulates him. Then Ash and company continue towards Fortree City.
Take This House and Shuppet
The universe is a vast place. Its distance is such a great magnitude. The announcer ponders its greatness. However, this has nothing to do with Team Rocket, as we are serenaded by an all too familiar phrase, “Team Rocket’s blasting off again!” They land in front a mansion, but they are not happy about it. It must be noted that they all have curly hair. James yells at Meowth, and they start to fight as they almost had Pikachu. Jessie is pulled in, and a great dust cloud forms until a mysterious thing takes some red energy out of them. Ash and company are traveling along the road. They are unhappy as Team Rocket’s beam gave them curly hair. Brock, on the other hand, is content with his new hair. They come to a fork in the road and the PokéNav does not show a fork. Ash says that they are lost, so they should just go to the left. May just follows Ash. Max is unsure, but Brock entices him to follow them. Team Rocket is suddenly much more joyous since the last time we saw them. They realize they are in front of a mansion. James is hungry, so Meowth picks the lock to the front door and they enter. As the door closes, their tensions come back. Meowth tries to use Fury Swipes on the door, but it is useless. They start to yell at each other again, until the mysterious thing drains the negative energy out of them again. They decide to explore around. It has started raining outside, and Ash and company have reached the mansion’s door. They ask to come it, and the door opens by itself. They are unsure whether to go in or not, but a large lightning bolt scares May inside, forcing everybody else to follow. As they are inside, the door closes by itself. They notice Meowth’s scratch marks on the door, but they cannot open the door. May and Max start to bicker again. Max runs through a door which immediately opens for him and closes behind him. Ash and Brock suggest looking for Max, but May is stubborn. Max hears this behind the door and starts to travel by himself. Max walks down a corridor, still angry at May. However, the mysterious thing from before takes Max’s negative energy. Max realizes this, and notices through a window that an invisible ghost Pokémon is with him. The Shuppet reveals itself. It looks like it wants to play, so Max goes with it. Max accidentally falls down some stairs, but Shuppet catches him with a Psychic attack. Max thanks the Shuppet. Shuppet shows Max into a library. It then moves a bookshelf to reveal a secret playroom. Max rides with Shuppet on a slide. Max wants to go on the merry-go-round, so Shuppet uses Psychic to make it move. Max then hears May outside the room, so he peeks through a small window on the floor. Ash and company are searching for Max. Brock asks May if she really hates Max, and she says that Max should take care of himself. Max is angered some more, so he decides to play a trick on them. The sky clears up. The owner of the mansion, a woman who is sporting the latest fashion of 1800, gets her key to open the door, but the door opens itself. She enters and notices the scratch marks on the front door. Trainer’s Choice! Which of these Pokémon is the best choice to battle Tyrogue: Sealeo, Exploud, or Dustox? Even though Dustox does not have a type disadvantage against Fighting-types, Exploud’s stats are much better then the other two. I’m going to support the producers on this one with Exploud. Ash and company enter a dining room with no food. They notice the curtain is flapping like it is windy, but the windows are closed. May guesses that there must be a crack in the window. Then the plates on the table start to rise, and that crack must really be big. Eventually a dresser starts to fall over, and they run out scared. Of course, Shuppet did all this. May runs so hard she runs into the mansion owner. She accuses them of breaking and entering. Brock says that it was windy and the door let them in. Then he makes a move toward her, but May steps in for Max. The owner explains that she wants to turn the mansion into a hotel, but nobody would want to work on the place because it is haunted. Anyway, Swellow, Torchic, and Mudkip are released to find Max. Max and Shuppet are laughing in the dining room when Team Rocket enters. They have found no food and are starting to get angry again. Their tension stops when Torchic enters. Max then doesn’t care because May said that he was a know-it-all. Then he remembers that May loves Torchic. He then remembers of when May really cared for him when he was in the hospital. He notices that May’s big green (they should be blue) eyes shows that she really cares for him. Max and Shuppet jump out to defend Torchic. James takes out an index card from his back pocket. It says that Shuppet is the Puppet Pokémon that tries to absorb people’s anger and other emotions. Max is defending Torchic when May notices him from the hallway. May then jumps in, saying that she loves Max. Max then is quite appreciative. Jessie doesn’t care and sends Seviper for a Poison Tail on Torchic. It misses, but it hits a dresser. May covers Max, but they are both saved by Shuppet’s Psychic. Ash, Brock, and the mansion owner arrive. The mansion owner appeals to Shuppet that she was Emily that played with it a long time ago. They reunite, and even Team Rocket is touched. However, they take Shuppet with a net and jump out a window into their balloon. Swellow uses Wing Attack to free Shuppet and Pikachu blasts them off (giving them curly hair again (including Wobbuffet, who doesn’t even have hair)). May and Max apologize for their previous behavior, as Ash and company continue toward Fortree City.
A Shroomish Skirmish
Ash and company are still traveling to Fortree City so Ash can earn his sixth gym badge. They are currently having some lunch (with their Pokémon out) in the Shroomish Forest. Brock says that there is extra food so today is all-you-can-eat. Corphish has eaten all of the food in his dish, but he is still hungry. Thusly, instead of just asking for more food, he takes some of Torchic’s food. Torchic gets angry and starts to attack Corphish. Pikachu and Mudkip try to calm them, but it is useless. Torchic and Corphish start to attack each other with Ember and Bubblebeam, so everybody is trying to not get hit. Team Rocket is really hungry, as they have not eaten for two days, eleven hours, forty-two minutes, and six seconds. They all wonder when they will eat again when James notices an apple. Team Rocket fights over the apple when they notice that some Shroomish behind a bush have more apples. Team Rocket just takes them. Torchic and Corphish are still causing havoc. They finally confront each other. Pikachu and Mudkip try to calm the situation again, but they are kicked out of the way. Finally, Grovyle uses Leaf Blade right between them to scare them off. Team Rocket is now enjoying the apples they stole from the Shroomish. Some more Shroomish drop down from a tree, but that does not scare Team Rocket. James jokingly notes that they could be charged with Grand Theft Apple. However, six Shroomish evolve into Breloom, and now Team Rocket is frightened. They run away before they can get hit. Team Rocket runs to where Ash and company are. They notice that some stew is out, so they quickly eat it before saying the motto. After that, Max asks what they were running away from, and the Breloom show up. The Pokédex says that Breloom uses its fists to use a barrage of Fighting-type attacks. Jesse says that the apples that they stole were no good, and this angers the Breloom. They just Mach Punch everybody away! The group got separated when they got hit. Mudkip and May are on a log that is above a large crevice. They decide to not look down and climb up one of the cliffs. Torchic is with Corphish. Torchic really misses May, but Corphish leads Torchic in a direction. Ash and Brock are with Swellow and Pikachu. Pikachu gets on Swellow and searches the sky for the others, as it is essential to reunite before the Breloom return. Max is with Meowth. Max yells at Meowth for causing the mess, and Meowth misses Jesse and James. Torchic and Corphish find them, so Max leads the Pokémon in a direction. Meowth says that they should wait there for others, but eventually gives in. May notices Mudkip’s fin moving. She remembers that Mudkip can use its fin like radar, so she lets Mudkip show where the other people are. Pikachu is having no success on Swellow. Ash and Brock come across three Breloom. Ash wants to fight them, but Brock convinces Ash to just run away. Team Rocket also comes across three Breloom. They run down a hill past May and Mudkip and fall on the same log that May and Mudkip were on. Max and the Pokémon keep walking. They walk right into a canyon and find much fruit. Of course, this is the Shroomish and Breloom fruit, and they are trapped, wrongly charged of attempted theft of fruit. Pikachu and Swellow arrive. Swellow gets Ash while Pikachu fights the Breloom; however, it fails. Corphish tries, but it does not do well. Ash now stays to battle the Breloom, but the three Breloom rush in and beat him up. Brock carries him out of the mess. However, Brock falls and they roll down a hill and land on the log Team Rocket was on. The log breaks and they fall down. Brock has Forretress use Rapid Spin to save them. They walk along. Corphish is now defending Torchic, and Torchic is touched. May and Mudkip arrive to notice that Torchic is now standing up for Corphish. It then evolves, possibly making this episode the largest number of evolutions for this season (There was one in Johto’s Whirl Islands where about twenty Remoraid evolved simultaneously, which currently has the record for most evolutions ever.). The Pokédex says that Combusken is now part Fighting-type. Ash, Brock, and Team Rocket arrive onto the scene to notice that Torchic evolved into a Combusken. Combusken now battles one-on-one with the leader Breloom. Combusken gains the upper hand with some new moves like Fire Spin and Sky Uppercut, but Breloom demands that they give punches. The two Pokémon hit each other hard until they respect each other. Meowth says that they have settled their differences. Then they plan to blast Team Rocket off, and Jesse and James unknowingly agree. Team Rocket is punched away. Breloom and Combusken have now signed a truce and are now friends. Then everybody eats. Corphish is hungry again when his bowl is empty, so he tries to take some of Combusken’s food. Combusken notices this and Torchic calmly puts the food back.
Unfair Weather Friends
Ash and company are traveling along a mountain path. Ash comments on how nice the day is when it a downpour starts. Everybody starts running. Ash and company are running when a blizzard starts. Then they find a Castform. The Pokédex says that Castform adapts to the weather. Then the Castform tries to lead them somewhere. They decide that they might as well follow it, as they could freeze if they just stay there. They come across two scientists and suddenly the weather turns back to what it originally was. The researchers apologize for their experiments. Brock tries to make a move on the female scientist, who has a Ditto, but when Max is just about ready to pull his ear, Brock just freezes without holding the woman’s hands. Brock finds it weird. The scientists introduce themselves as Bart and Millie. Then they show them the Weather Institute. Outside the place is a weather control machine that uses an antenna to cause clouds over a small island. Bart asks Millie to show the visitors inside. Bart then says to another scientist that Millie is so good even though she is a new employee. Team Rocket is spying on them, of course, and they decide that they want to steal the weather control machine. Just then, a helicopter appears from the distance. Ash and company are shown by Millie to upper level of the main room, which stores all of the data. Then they see on a computer that the helicopter. The helicopter belongs to Team Aqua, headed by Admin Shelley. They drop out of the helicopter in front of the weather machine. They capture the scientists by a ring that goes right around the hips. Team Rocket is still spying on the situation. They decide that it would be best to hide, but they are discovered by Team Aqua agents. Jessie and James start the motto, but Meowth warns them to stop. Jessie and James want drama, so they finish it. In the meantime, they are captured the same way the scientists were. Team Rocket and the scientists are on the weather control machine test island. Team Rocket says that they won’t get away with this. They figure out that if they suck all of the air out of their bodies, the ring drops to the ground. They release themselves. A grunt tells Shelley that the information they are looking for on legendary Pokémon requires an access card. She asks the scientists for the card, but Burt refuses to give his up. Therefore, the machine makes some dark clouds. Castform turns into a Water type, so the scientists duck down. Team Rocket wonders why and they get hit by some lightning bolts. Burt gives the access card to Castform and tells it to go to Millie. Castform goes into an air duct. Ash is furious in the main room, besides being curious why Team Rocket is there. Ash wants to get Team Aqua, but May asks where he’s going, and Ash doesn’t know. Millie says that all of the air ducts are connected to this room, so Castform will have to come here. Unfortunately, some Team Aqua grunts come barging in on the lower level of the room, searching for Castform. Castform eventually comes out through an air duct. A Crawdaunt chases it, and Millie yells at it to come up here. Castform makes it up to them, and Ash says that he will take care of the grunts. Everybody else runs away. Pikachu then Thunderbolts the grunts and Crawdaunt. Ash now wants to get the rest of Team Aqua. Trainer’s Choice! Which of these Pokémon evolves into Weezing: Gulpin, Koffing, or Muk? If you don’t know the answer, welcome to the show. For the episodes in Kanto and Johto, James of Team Rocket had a Weezing that evolved from a Koffing. Some other Team Aqua grunts run through a corridor. Up in an air duct, Millie, May, Max, Brock, and Castform try to see if they’re gone. They decide to get out. They walk into a room. Millie decides that it would be best if the information was wiped from the computer. She then uses the access card to get the information and save it on a floppy disk. Then she deletes the information off the computer system. Then Millie and company run down a hall and find Team Aqua agents around the corner. Millie decides that Ditto should Transform into Castform. Then Ditto gets the access card and it runs down a hall to distract the agents. Then they continue running. Ash is running down another hall when he sees the Ditto/Castform with the access card being chased by Team Aqua members. Ash takes Ditto and goes down a hall. Ash runs into Millie and company. May gets mad at Ash for messing up their cover. The two Team Aqua grunts then find them. Ash released Torkoal, who quickly releases black smoke to distract the guards. Ash and company run outside. They encounter Shelley and the other Team Aqua members. She asks for the access card. Bart yells at Millie to keep the card. The weather machine then causes a very large lightning bolt to hit Team Rocket. They blast off while Ash is still pondering what they were trying to do. After thirty seconds of thinking, Millie gives Shelley the access card. Bart is disappointed. Team Aqua checks the computer to find that the information has been deleted. Millie keeps the floppy disk for herself and jumps to the top of the tower of the weather control machine. Millie reveals herself to be Brody, a Team Magma member who is very skilled at disguises. Team Aqua then attacks him with two Crawdaunt. Brody’s Ditto transforms into a Crawdaunt. It then attacks the real Crawdaunt. Then Brody flies away with a jet pack. Burt is heartbroken that Millie was not really a real scientist. Then the real Millie appears. Brock then proclaims his love to her, so Max pulls his ear. Burt then welcomes her, and her first job is to find the information of Groudon and Kyogre from piles of raw data. She doesn’t mind it. May thinks that Burt and Millie love each other. Ash and company continue to Fortree City, Burt and Millie become friends, and Team Rocket will likely freeze in a snowstorm.

However when Pikachu tries a Thunderbolt, Pelipper is able to channel it into the ground using Steel Wing. After a furious shooting battle, Pikachu and Pelipper knock each other out. Crazy As A Lunatone!
From outer space, a strange comet falls down into the earth. The Pokemon Mystery Club (from "Wish Upon a Star Shape") seems to be expecting that comet to fall down. Ken asks Mary to prepare the machine to investigate the meteor. It seems that the machine is a Pokemon Capture machine. As they head down towards the comet, they try to break it. A Lunatone appears while Ken commands Mary to capture it. Lunatone seems to be fast to be captured. Lunatone uses the Levitate attack to try to blast them. Unfortunately, they counterattack Lunatone's attack and that gives them a chance to capture it. The two big hands successfully captured Lunatone. While they werenít watching, Lunatone uses a strange red light attack. Ken commands Mary again to pull back and It flies away. Back with Ash and others, they're still continuing their journey towards the next gym. Before they go anywhere else, they need to go to the Pokemon Center first. As they walk down team rocket is there is secretly listening to what they say When Ash and the others finally reach a town at the foot of the mountain, they feel strange because the town is like a ghost town with no people in it. As they enter the Pokemon Center, Ash says hello but no one answers. Brock tells them that everyone might be gone. Suddenly, Nurse Joy appears. Everyone goes to her while Brock is trying to flirt with her again. As they hear Nurse Joy talking, they all noticed that she's kind of acting strange. She keeps saying the same word over and over again and she just leaves. When May tries to stop her, everyone gets worried. In the middle of the night in the park, they're still taking about how strange Nurse Joy acted today. Brock tells everyone that maybe she's not the real Nurse Joy. As he brings the book about Nurse Joy he explains the real Nurse Joy's qualities. She's beautiful, caring, etc. When they're finished, someone concludes that maybe Nurse Joy is possessed by a ghost or hypnotized. Max interrupts and tells everyone that he is hungry.
All of the Pokemon and the gangs are eating their dinner except for Lombre, so he walks away from heís food and goes into the bushes. When everyone notices Lombre is gone, they all try to find it. When Lombre is trying to get into the bushes, two strange people with gas masks on try to steal him. When Lombre is trying to get in the bushes, a strange two people with a gas mask on tries to steal him. They are noticed! Everyone asks about them. The two strange people answer that they want to steal their Pokemon. (They think that itís a Pokemon from outer space). Max yells that Lombre is not a strange Pokemon from outer space. Ken asks Mary to check her Pokedex. When they check it, it seems that Max is correct and Lombre goes back to its master. The two strange people reveal themselves as the Pokemon Mystery Club! (It's the people who tried to steal Lunatone in the very beginning of the episode). Both of them tell Ash and the others about the Pokemon they encountered before. They told them that it's a strange Pokemon from outer space that uses psychic attacks. As they finish telling the story, both of them run away putting the mask on to prevent Lunatone from hypnotizing or using any psychic powers on their minds. After they leave, they all discuss about that strange Pokemon that Ken and Mary mentioned. As they talk about it, May tells everyone that Nurse Joy is one of Lunatone's victims! Ash tells everyone again that they need to investigate the Pokemon Center. Outside of the Pokemon Center everyone was ready to investigate the mystery about Joy-san. As they head in, Team Rocket was there also trying to sneak in. As everybody sneaks up inside of the Pokemon Center, Team Rocket was also sneaking up in the back. As they finally reach the window, Team Rocket falls down causing some noise inside of the Pokemon Center. Ash and Everyone hears him and they all went to investigate it. As they see a light coming from the noise they heard (James turning on the flashlight ), everyone freaks out including May. Suddenly...Team Rocket shows themselves saying the motto again. After that motto, Ash says, "TEAM ROCKET!". While they're arguing they hear that Nurse Joy is coming. They all panic and run to a nearby room. Inside of a room with full of wooden boxes, everyone was there including Ash's gang and Team Rocket. When Jesse finds out that they're with them, she gets mad. A strange noise behind the wooden boxes comes in. James turns on his flashlight and sees a Pokemon that looks like a moon. Ash opens up his Pokedex and learns that itís Lunatone, a rock-psychic Pokemon. When Jesse goes near Lunatone to investigate it, Lunatone hypnotizes Jesse temporarily. James and Meowth follow her and Jesse acts so strange. After a minute, she's back to normal. Brock sees what just Lunatone did to Jesse. Ash tells everyone that Lunatone must be the one who hypnotized Nurse Joy. They open the lights up as when Nurse Joy appears. Team Rocket interrupts and tells everyone that they'll steal Lunatone. Jesse and James bring out their Pokemon and tries to attack Lunatone. When they suddenly attack it, Lunatone uses a Psychic attack... but it failed and makes it faint. At the time Lunatone faints, Nurse Joy was free from Lunatone's psychic powers. Meowth come to Lunatone and tries to talk to it. As Meowth translates on what Lunatone is trying to say, that they all learned Lunatone came from outer space and is very weak, but Jesse is still eager to capture it. Ash stops them and blasts them off. Inside of the Emergency Room in Pokemon Center, Nurse Joy is trying to heal Lunatone. Everyone pities Lunatone. Nurse Joy tells everyone that Lunatone might need to come back to where it came from. Everyone agrees to bring Lunatone to the place on where the moon sets. Everyone is walking on the mountain trails; Ash and the others are carrying Lunatone and Pikachu inside of the cart. They do this so that no one can know about Lunatone. As they head up to the place, Ken and Mary appeared trying to find Lunatone. When they see Ash and the gang, they all ask if they see the Pokemon that they're talking about. Everyone pretends that they don't know it and they proceed. When they're finally near to the place on which Lunatone will depart, Max notices that the mountain's figure is like Camerupt's back. Anyways, they still continue trying to find the moonlight on which it will regain its strength again by the shine of the moon. Nurse Joy checks the time and it's nearly midnight. When everyone sees a moon trying to set, they were very excited, but it was Team Rocket trying to steal Lunatone again. Suddenly Lunatone faints again. Team Rocket uses the Big Hand capture machine again to catch Lunatone. Without their attention, that thing was counter attacked by Ken and Mary. When both teams argue among each other, they fight and the PMC blasts Team Rocket off. After that, the PMC tries to go snatch Lunatone. Ash asks Pikachu to attack it but the PMC's hand robot is so fast and they counterattack it. Brock uses Mudkip to help Pikachu but it fails also. With May's Beautifly, it helps PMC's machine to be stunned by its Gust attack. Mudkip uses Water Gun as Pikachu uses Thunderbolt. Finally, the robot stops while Nurse Joy points to the moon. Everyone gets excited. Lunatone glows and it floats to the air regaining its power again. As they rejoice, they didnít know that the PMC is still there trying to attack them. Everyone freaks out but Lunatone saves them and blasts the PMC off. After the blast the PMC, Lunatone departs while everyone was rejoicing!
